Miss Katie

Katie Delozier began dancing at age 3 with Sharon Fowler, continued studying at Carole Dance Studio, and eventually danced at Columbus Youth Ballet. She majored in dance education at Hope College and earned certification in K-12 creative movement and dance. Miss Katie was a member of the Strike Time Dance Company in Holland, Michigan where she performed for audiences all around the Midwest. Locally she has worked with Mount Vernon Players and MTVArts on various productions.  She currently holds a 200 hour yoga teacher certification and is continuing coursework in an adiitional 300 hour program.  Miss Katie is also is active within the community, specifically with the Kiwanis Club of Mount Vernon, for which she currently serves as President.

Stephanie Stute is a graduate of The Ohio State University. She has been teaching dance and gymnastics for more than 25 years. A true ballerina at heart, and energetic gymnastics instructor, Miss Stephanie loves to share her love of dance and gymnastics with others. Stephanie is a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Stephanie is honored to have studied dance under Carole Ogg for ten years. She has had the opportunity to study ballet with Jo Rowan, David Howard and Janice Barringer. Stephanie currently resides in Mt. Vernon with her husband and two children. 

 

Ashleigh Zarley

Ashleigh Zarley

Ashleigh Zarley began her dancing career at the age of three at Dance Unlimited in Michigan. She has been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern dancing. She spent a year at the New Jersey School of Ballet, and seven years dancing with Cumberland Dance Company currently the Pennsylvania Regional Ballet Company. She has attended summer dance intensive programs at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Company and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. She has also been involved in MTVarts musical productions of the Wizard of Oz (dancer), Annie (choreographer/Grace Farrell), Cinderella (choreographer/Joy), Grease (choreography team/Sandy) and Shrek and Mary Poppins (choreography team). She has a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, with minors in Computer Science and Spanish Language from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She has a Masters in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. She currently works as the IT Director for Innovation and Analytics at Kenyon College.  

 

Brianne Presley

Brianne

Brianne Presley is a graduate of Kenyon College. She has been dancing since age three, doing gymnastics since age five, and has cheered throughout middle school and high school. Her dance training began in Mount Vernon and continued throughout central Ohio. Most recently she has danced at BalletMet and IYooWee Dance Team. She has performed locally, in California, and at New York City’s Orpheum Theater. Brianne is trained in many forms of dance including: classical ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and pom. She also worked this past summer at the Dance Notation Bureau in New York City. Brianne hopes to share her love of gymnastics and dance with others.
