Miss Katie

Katie Delozier began dancing at age 3 with Sharon Fowler, continued studying at Carole Dance Studio, and eventually danced at Columbus Youth Ballet. She majored in dance education at Hope College and earned certification in K-12 creative movement and dance. Miss Katie was a member of the Strike Time Dance Company in Holland, Michigan where she performed for audiences all around the Midwest. In addition to teaching dance, Miss Katie is active in local theater productions through MTVArts.

Miss Stephanie

Stephanie Stute is a graduate of The Ohio State
University. She has been teaching dance and gymnastics for more than 20 years. A true ballerina at heart, and energetic gymnastics instructor, Miss Stephanie loves to share her love of dance and gymnastics with others. Stephanie is also a certified Acrobatic Arts instructor. Stephanie is honored to have studied dance under Carole Ogg for ten years. She has had the opportunity to study ballet with Jo Rowan, David Howard and Janice Barringer. Stephanie currently resides in Mt. Vernon with her husband and two children. 

 

Alissa Hinkens

Alissa Hinkens

Alissa Hinkens Alissa began dancing under the direction of Carole Ogg at the age of three. She has been trained in ballet, pointe, lyrical, jazz, hip hop, and tap, and has taught dance for several years. Alissa attended Mount Vernon High School and the Knox County Career Center before graduating from Muskingum University in 2009, with a Bachelor

of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Business. While attending Muskingum University she had the privilege of being a member of the Muskie Dance Team. Alissa resides in Howard, Ohio with her husband Daniel and daughters Gianna and Morgan. She is excited to be dancing and sharing her love for dance through her teaching. 

Michelle Wolgamot

Michelle Wolgamot first started dancing at the age of three at Miss Jennifer’s Dance Studio in Coshocton, Ohio. She has been trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip hop. She competed for 9 years all over Ohio with Elite Dance Force, and had the honor of winning 1st place overall for her senior solo, and was invited to compete on a national level. She has had the privilege to perform at Disney World, three Cavaliers basketball games, and a Woman’s Ohio State basketball game. She attended an intensive at Kalahari where she took classes from several dancers including, The Rockettes and Kent Boyd, who was the second place runner up of So You Think You Can Dance Season 7. She has also choreographed for MTVarts musical productions The Little Mermaid Jr., Aladdin Jr., and was part of the choreography team for Shrek The Musical. For three years, Michelle taught many different styles such as, ballet, tap, jazz, tumbling, and hip hop at Miss Jennifer’s Dance Studio. She is currently a nanny in Apple Valley. This will be her third year teaching at the spotlight. 

Brianne Presley

Brianne

Brianne Presley is a graduate of Kenyon College. She has been dancing since age three, doing gymnastics since age five, and has cheered throughout middle school and high school. Her dance training began in Mount Vernon and continued throughout central Ohio. Most recently she has danced at BalletMet and IYooWee Dance Team. She has performed locally, in California, and at New York City’s Orpheum Theater. Brianne is trained in many forms of dance including: classical ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, and pom. She also worked this past summer at the Dance Notation Bureau in New York City. Brianne hopes to share her love of gymnastics and dance with others. 

Ashleigh Zarley

Ashleigh Zarley

Ashleigh Zarley began her dancing career at the age of three at Dance Unlimited in Michigan. She has been trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Modern dancing. She spent a year at the New Jersey School of Ballet, and seven years dancing with Cumberland Dance Company

currently the Pennsylvania Regional Ballet Company. She has attended summer dance intensive programs at the Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Company and the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City. She has also been involved in MTVarts musical productions of the Wizard

of Oz (dancer), Annie (choreographer/Grace Farrell), Cinderella (choreographer/Joy), Grease (choreography team/Sandy) and Shrek and Mary Poppins (choreography team). She has a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, with minors in Computer Science and Spanish Language from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She has a Masters in Computer Information Systems from Boston University. She taught Ballet and Pointe for four years at Broadway Bound Dance Center in New Albany, Ohio. She currently works at Kenyon College as a Systems Analyst. This will be her seventh year teaching at the Spotlight.
