The Spotlight will operate under a two-session plan this year. Spring Session will run January 11, 2021 through May 15, with recital week being May 10-15th.  New enrollments will be taken for the Spring Session in November and continue until classes are full. Class sizes will be reduced for 2020-2021 to allow for more space for social distancing and the safety of everyone enrolled. Please plan to enroll early to secure your spot. Wait lists will be started once classes reach their maximum number of students.

Registration fee is due at the time of registration to hold your students spot. Tuition payments are due by the 10th of the month or you may contact us if you would like to pay the entire session upfront, there is a $5 discount for payments made in full by September 5th. Automatic payments may be made on the 5th of each month by contacting us via email or stopping by the front desk to set up auto pay.

Thank you to all who donated gloves and hats for our giving tree. The Spotlight was also pleased to announce that the American Girl Doll and Spotlight Bag raffle raised $780 for Food for the Hungry. Thank you again for helping out those in need in our local community. Olivia Heffelfinger was the proud winner of the American Girl Doll, and Bella Evans was the winner of the Spotlight bag.

The Spotlight Closing Due to Inclement Weather

Snowflakes will be falling this winter, we would like to remind everyone of The Spotlight’s cancellation policy. If the studio must close due to inclement weather there will be a recording on the voicemail as well as posted on the website at www.thespotlightcenter.com. Just because schools are closed does not mean The Spotlight will be closed, so please check on days that the weather is questionable. The Spotlight staff will attempt to post any closing by 1 p.m.

Reminder: Class Cancellation Policy

There may be times that we must cancel classes due to weather, our policy provides one ‘cushion day” for each day of the week. This means that each day of the week could have one cancelled day of classes without requiring a makeup lesson. If a certain day’s classes are cancelled more than once, a makeup class will be scheduled.
